NorCal FIRST Tech Challenge Qualifying Tournament Registration Policy

  1. Teams are eligible to register for tournaments only if they have satisfied FIRST’s and Playing at Learning’s requirements
    1. Two Screened Coaches
    2. Payment of FIRST Tech Challenge annual registration fee
    3. Team Survey for Playing at Learning
  2. Teams may register for up to 3 NorCal FIRST Tech Challenge tournaments on an as-available basis following the NorCal FTC Tournament Registration timeline
  3. Once a team has registered to attend a NorCal FTC Qualifying Tournament they are required to make the tournament registration payment
  4. If a team needs to cancel a registered event they need to notify Playing at Learning as quickly as possible. See FTC Team Tournament Registration Cancellation Policy.
  5. Teams that have not paid their registration fee by the date of their tournament will not be allowed to compete and will be responsible for making the payment before they are allowed to compete in any other NorCal FTC Tournament.
  6. Teams that qualify to advance to the NorCal Regional Championship at an early tournament and “no show” a later qualifying tournament may have their advancement rescinded.
