We are pleased to announce the following team grant options for Northern California FTC teams:

 

1)  New Northern California  FTC teams with demonstrated need are eligible for a grant from LSI Corporation for $600.  Teams must meet and members must reside in the following cities:   Mt. View, Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, San Jose, Milpitas and Fremont.  Application is required. 

 

2)  New Northern California  FTC teams with demonstrated need are eligible for a grant from ADC Foundation for $900.   Application is required.  This is a strong preference to fund teams that have a majority of members from under-represented groups in engineering and science.  

 

3)  Northern California FTC teams with demonstrated need are eligible for a grant from Google.  Application is required.  There is a preference is given to teams that have a majority of members from under-represented groups in engineering and science.  This grant can be given to returning FTC teams with demonstrated need or new teams.  

 

4)  9/9/09  Northern California FTC teams from Tri-Valley area (Livermore, Amador and San Ramon valleys) and San Joaquin County are eligible for grants from LLNL.  Application is required.
