Creative Motion

Thank you for attending my workshop on Creative Motion at the FIRST Tech Challenge kickoff event. I hope everyone enjoyed it and learned something new.
I used this MIT lecture when putting together the section on linkage design:
I encourage you to explore the following documents as well, for a deeper understanding of Robot Design:
The “Robot in One Weekend” project may provide inspiration and lessons learned. Robot reveal videos for the four Robot in One Weekend teams should be posted to their YouTube channel by this weekend.
If you have questions about mechanical design or would like feedback on your designs, feel free to contact me. I enjoy doing full design reviews with teams, either remotely over Skype or in person. The earlier critical design issues are resolved, the better the robot will be.
The attachments to this email are:
  1. An Excel file that calculates if your robot can turn  by Mark Kramarczyk.
  2. An Excel file that calculates ball trajectories for last season’s FRC game by Ether and FRC Mentor. https://www.chiefdelphi.com/media/papers/2946
  3. Document on Project Management written by Chris Fultz, a mentor for FRC 234.
  4. A copy of my presentation, “Three Napkin Design.”
Cheers!
