2009 NORCAL FTC TEAM COSTS - Rookie Teams
        National Registration   (opens May 4th)  ...........  $   275
        FTC Robotics kit (1st year only) .......................  $   999  ($799 if you already have LEGO NXT Mindstorms #9797)
        2009 Game elements   .........................................  $   300 est.   (depends on how many of the game elements that you want)          
        2009 NorCal Championship tournament ............  $   125 est

        Metal / Lexan Field  Walls/Tiles is an optional aspect and is estimated to cost  $1,200  (full metal/lexan)  There is an alternative low cost field of PVC / plywood as well as many teams that get a few of the foam floor tiles and critical parts of the game field.
