FIRST Tech Challenge in Northern California is a completely volunteer run effort. We are always looking for individuals (or groups) that are willing to help provide this program for our youth. Many different types of skills are needed including Tournament Volunteering Interested in helping us write grants, write articles, build community, or other things to help the program be successful and grow here in our area? The FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) is a robotics competition for upper middle and high-school students. It offers the traditional challenge and excitement of a FIRST Robotics Competition but with an accessible and affordable robotics kit. The ultimate goal of FTC is to reach more young people with a lower-cost, more accessible opportunity to discover the excitement and rewards of science, technology, and engineering. What is FTC?
