NorCal FIRST Tech Challenge Qualifying Tournament Registration :: Velocity Vortex
Tournament registration will take place in 3 “waves”. Each wave is made up of four registration windows and covers the registration for a month’s worth of tournaments.
1st Play is reserved for teams that have not yet registered for a qualifying tournament. 2nd Play is reserved for teams that have only registered for a single tournament. 3rd Play is for teams that have already registered for two tournaments.
Teams that are from the areas outside of the NorCal FTC Region my register for NorCal tournaments during the “Out of Area” window.
NorCal teams that have already registered for three tournaments may indicate their interest in attending additional tournaments by signing up for the WaitList. The WaitList is an ordered list. When tournament space becomes available, it will be offered to WaitList teams in order. If a team in the WaitList declines an opportunity, they are moved to the end of the list and the option passes to the next team.
All teams should be aware that FTC policy limits teams to advancing (and winning judge awards) only at the first three qualifying tournaments they attend (see Game Manual Part 1, Section 7.2).
